Orbis International continues virtual clinical education in partnership with Heidelberg Engineering
Through free, virtual webinars, the companies are working to bring clinical education to eye care professionals around the world.

Orbis, a sight-saving charity, and Heidelberg Engineering, an imaging and data solutions company, are working together to provide free clinical education for eye care professionals around the world.
This partnership will bring 2 upcoming virtual instruction sessions to the Cybersight platform, a telemedicine and e-learning platform founded by Orbis. The sessions are as follows:

Clinical Technology & Surgical Techniques in the Evolving Management of Corneal Diseases
The first live co-sponsored virtual session took place in February and discussed diagnosing, monitoring, and managing diabetic retinopathy. This session was watched live by over 600 eye health professionals from 100 countries including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Nepal, where eye care services can be difficult to access.1
The second session was help on April 12, 2024 and focused on Improved Perioperative Management of Cataract Surgery Using OCT Technology. This, along with the session hosted in February, is available in the Cybersight Library.1
