Jacques Gilbert has been appointed Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer for Topcon Healthcare Inc. According to the company, Jacques will lead the development and execution of Topcon Healthcare’s business strategy, focusing on the company’s Healthcare from the Eye initiative. This initative is defined by the company as a connected care ecosystem using oculomics, the science behind AI-powered ocular and systemic disease detection and management applied to noninvasive retinal imaging.1
Jacques brings 25 years of experience in the healthcare, financial services, and technology sectors in successful startups and multinational corporations to this role. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Healthcare Strategy, Partnerships & M&A at Microsoft.1
